I thought I would share my review on the Breadman Ultimate TR-2200C. I absolutely love it! This model comes in white. Compared to our previous bread machine, the Breadman Ultimate TR-2200C delivers a 2 lb. loaf versus the smaller loaves we have made in the past. The features and options are plentiful. Check out the manual. There is also the Breadman Chrome Ultimate Breadmaker, TR2500BC model which is just a different color. Their manual is just incredible. It not only teaches you about the machine, but about ingredients, measuring, dough consistency and more, as well as provides you with recipes. The machine also comes with a great instructional video.
First of all, it makes more than just bread. I tried a pizza dough recipe that was fast, easy and delicious. Spread the dough out, top with your favorite topping, pop it in the oven and voila – you have yourself inexpensive, delicious pizza! They even list a focaccia dough recipe. Yum!
You can also make jam, cake and pasta dough. I have not yet tried these myself, but it seem to be very simple.
You can even set personal settings for your very own recipes and store it for future use. Use the special setting whether you are baking a 1 lb., 1.5 lb, or 2 lb. loaf.
The setting includes: white bread, whole-wheat bread, french bread, fruit and nut bread, batter breads, jam, rapid bread, bake only, personal recipe, and custom program. It even has a setting to add additional ingedients at a specific point in the cycle, such as nuts or fruit. It just drops in from a container.
If you would like to wake up to warm homemade bread, just set the up to 24 hour timer. Ooo, sounds like a winter treat!
