Many people wonder what causes dark circles under eyes. Dark circles, under your eyes can be caused by several reasons. See the list below.
Possible Causes

1. See an allergy specialist, dermatologist or nutritionist; avoid those things which cause you allergic reactions; and treat your symptoms. of
2. See a nutritionist or homeopathic specialist for possible deficiencies or over dose of specific vitamins or minerals; or suggestion in a change diet. An overdose of Vitamn A is also known to cause dark cirles.
3. Get more sleep
4. Drink plenty of liquids. Alcohol or a high sodium diet, lacking in enough water may also contribute to dark circles.
5. Vitamin B6 and Folic Acid may help you if you have insufficient digestion of protein. Consult a medical professional for the appropriate blood tests.
5. Apply cold caffeinated tea bags to help with dark circles, puffiness and swelling. Just steep two tea bags according to instructions; allow tea bags to cool in refrigerator while you are drinking the tea. When the tea bags are cold place them on your closed eyes for about 15 minutes while lying down. If you are just concerned with dark circles or are too cold for cold tea bags, warm tea bags are known to offer the same results. Though, I would imagine that they will not help will swelling of the eyes. Apply as needed.
Q. The million dollar question is, “What kind of tea bags do I use to remove dark circles under my eyes?
A. Black tea is often the most recommended, but my research shows that white or green tea works, too.
This solution should help you with the bags under your eyes, eye puffiness and dark circles under your eyes.
7. Cold slices of cucumber or potato are also known to help lighten dark circles and puffiness. Just apply them to your closed eyelids.
8. There are creams on the market that contain retinol (Vitamin A) and Vitamin K which are known to help dark circles, as well.
9. Quit smoking. Smoking can cause blood vessels to be more prominent.
WARNING: If the dark circles, puffiness or swelling of your eyes are associated with other symptoms or suddenly appeared, consult a physician, as this may be a sign of a more serious illness or disease.
I am not a doctor. Therefore, please consult a medical professional before taking or ceasing any supplements.
