Eating Too Much of a Food Can Cause an Allergy
Did you know that when you eat too much of one particular food that you can develop an allergy to that food? I did that very thing by eating too many tomatoes over the years. My mother cooked with tomatoes quite a bit, especially being that my father is Italian. When I got married, I cooked many of her favorite recipes, along with new ones which mostly consisted of tomatoes. Let’s face it, Italian and Mexican food, my all-time favorites, have tomatoes in most of the recipes.
Many years ago, after my daughter’s baptism, I had so much left-over lasagna, (I always over cook!), that I ate it for lunch and dinner for about 3 days in a row. Gluten Free Giveaway and JK Gourmet Review
JK Gourmet sent me a bunch of products for a gluten free giveaway and product review. I sampled one and wanted to share my feedback with you. Read all the way through to find out about the giveaway and coupon code.
First, let me explain that the only duplicate product that I received was a raisin and nut granola. I really wanted the giveaway to have a good variety so I decided to sample the raisin and nut granola even though I don’t like raisins in my food and my husband doesn’t like nuts in his. To our amazement, we both loved it!
They use organic raisins and they are sweetened with honey. You can’t ask for more!

Gluten Free Giveaway and Katz Gluten Free Products Review
I recently received a package of products to sample from Katz Gluten Free. What an assortment! They were also generous enough to sponsor a gluten free giveaway.
Let me tell you, their chocolate chip cookies are to die for! – tastes like the real thing. Their secret is in their chocolate that they use; so yummy!
I usually make my own gluten free bread, but have not had time to perfect my recipe. I had a recent out of town trip and it was such a pleasure to bring my own fluffy gluten free bread with me to a restaurant and ask them to make me a sandwich out of their Sliced Challah Bread!
I sampled their white bread, as well, which has an equally fluffy texture. I used it at my hotel’s buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs and cream cheese.
